There are six people in my family. The four-pawed members are me, Gracie, Layla Bean and Lucy. Gracie and me are the original members of the family. Jane owned Gracie and Jon owned me. When they got married, we all became one family and I got a sister in the bargain.

When we moved to Chincoteague and opened the bookstore, Mom and Dad wanted a store cat. Lucy was given to them by some friends when she was a very little kitten. She didn't like all the noise so they brought her home. Layla Bean was also going to be a store cat but she was so scared that she wouldn't eat. Mom and Dad brought her home to try to get her to eat and she's been here ever since. So, no more store kitties!  Mom says four cats is a small house is enough. We all have our spots that we like to sit and sleep so everyone is happy.
